Taskbar does not "autohide"
I cannot get my Taskbar to Autohide. When I reboot or restart it functions for a moment or so, but then stays right on the screen, whether desktop or a program. So far my only gripe about Windows 7 is that the Feedback Tool is not there. Unless Windows 7 recognizes and problem, and the built-in procedure for reporting problems come into play, there is a dead end in reporting a problem. AND THIS FORUM SAYS "DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS IN THIS FORUM". Go figure. Running Windows 7 Professional, 64bit with no other preceived problems. It is aggravating to have the taskbar there all the time. I've even tried it at the top and sides, but it is in the way anywhere, (except when you need it!) Father Patrick Hunt

Hi, I didn’t encounter the problem while I reproduce your scenario. I am assuming if any third party program installed on your computer affects this. I recommend you to perform a Clean Boot and see if the issue appears. Moreover, if there is a program running in notification area, it might conflict the taskbar. Please check the notification areas and turn off some third party icons to see if it works. Best Regards DalePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
